Personal Bio:

Mike is a Michigan native who grew up sailboat racing, playing hockey, and rooting for all the Detroit sports teams, as well as his beloved Michigan Wolverines. Mike moved to New York City for law school and spent the next 25 years enjoying life in Manhattan with his wife Mary and his two teenage children, Katie and Nick.

Something you have that you love: “When we went to the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, I had the good fortune to meet my childhood idol Wayne Gretzky and he signed an Olympic program for me.”

Favorite artist(s): “David Hockney, Basquiat, Roy Lichtenstein…living in NYC I’ve had the good fortune to enjoy some of the greatest museums in the world.”

Favorite thing from childhood: “Being a sports junkie.”
