With nearly two decades of experience in corporate and securities law, Mike helps us stay ahead of the game. He has a great eye for compliance and always encourages his coworkers to communicate. He was an author of the United States Securities Laws section in the International Securities Law treatise published by BNA. We could go on for days about his credentials, but we’ll leave that to LinkedIn, so we can skip to some fun facts about Mike.
Mac or PC: “Both, but I still have my Apple IIe and original Macintosh.”
Favorite artist: “David Hockney, Basquiat, Roy Lichtenstein … living in NYC, I’ve had the good fortune to enjoy some of the greatest museums in the world.”
Favorite thing as a child: “Being a sports junkie … I was a sailmaker as a teenager.”
Special hobbies/interests: Mike is a Michigan native who grew up sailboat racing, playing hockey, and rooting for all the Detroit sports teams, as well as his beloved Michigan Wolverines.
Location: New York, New York. Mike moved to New York City for law school and spent the next 25 years enjoying life in Manhattan with his wife, Mary, and his two children, Katie and Nick.
Other: “When I went to the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, I had the good fortune to meet my childhood idol Wayne Gretzky and he signed an Olympic program for me.”
