Favorite artist: “I have a few. Rick Springfield and Prince are my favorites from growing up in the 80s. Seether is definitely my favorite group—I see them each time they are close to Knoxville (max of 4 hours travel time). Lindsey Sterling is also an amazing artist with a violin and can rock any type of music on that fiddle. I also love all compositions by Vivaldi.”
Favorite thing as a child: “I loved to catch frogs and tried to keep them as pets. To this day, they are my favorite reptile/animal. I spent a lot of time reading and doing cross stitch—the only thing that would keep me from talking constantly and driving the neighbor and my mother nuts. I also still have a bear my Uncle sent me from Malta, Italy before I was born. He was in the Navy and carried it around for a week before mailing it to the US.”
Special hobbies/interests: “I love to sew, and I recently started to learn how to make quilts, which is becoming a lost art. I play the violin on occasion; I have played it since I was eight. I am not that great with it anymore, but it makes me happy. I play online games, mostly MMOs, but just recently started playing first–person shooters with my husband and friends. My favorites are Overwatch and Fortnite.”
Other: “I am married and have one dog and 5 cats all rescues. I have a crazy obsession with Jack Skellington and the movie the ‘Nightmare Before Christmas,’ and all things Tim Burton. The expression on my face gives away what I am thinking before it even comes out of my mouth. Also, in tough situations, I become the clown to lighten the mood by cracking jokes or making faces.”
Location: “Ashland, KY; Kettering, OH; Knoxville TN.”
